DISEASE RESISTANCE ESCARLATA carries the genes (Ve, I, I2, Mi, Pto, Asc) for resistance to Verticillium race 1, Fusarium races 1 and 2, Root knot nematode, Bacterial speck, and Alternaria stem canker.
ADAPTATION ESCARLATA adapts very well to humid and arid climates.
COMMENTS This variety produces good yields of large and very firm fruits which can be harvested at the "pink" stage and delivered to market in excellent condition.
